We all know that Jack Daniel’s is a good mixer, but not that great for drinking neat.  Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel Select, however, is a completely different animal.  Jack Daniel’s hits a home run on this one.

This has a sweet nose – smells like cotton candy.   It demonstrates a spicy clove flavor on the front end which develops into a hotter cinnamony middle.  It has an almost sweet long lasting finish.  At 94 proof, not too hot.  Very well done Jack Daniel’s.  Worth getting a bottle.  I am pleasantly surprised and rate this pretty darn high at 82.
