Easter was spectacular this year and it was made all the better because I had the opportunity to enjoy some Midwinter Night’s Dram released by High West out of Utah as part of the celebration.

This stuff is good and the flavor hits like a bomb – Boom.  Heavy nose of dried fruits.  Smooth mouthfeel and smooth entry gives way to huge body with flavors of dried dates, pecans, and brown sugar.  The finish lasts a good long time too.   This has a lot of flavor for a rye.  I rate it at 85.  Will definitely be looking to acquire a bottle for sure.
