It’s been a while and plenty of bourbon/whiskeys have been tried and enjoyed during my hiatus. Tonight I write a review on one that I enjoyed after dinner. Whistle Pig 10 Year Old Rye.

Such a great rye. Butterscotch in the nose with slight alcohol sting. Smooth mouthfeel. Deep brown sugar and vanilla meshed with characteristic rye herbal spice notes. Nice smooth finish – not hot at all. If you get the chance grab some of this. Delicious. I rate it highly at 88.
