I received a bottle of RJ Callaghan Single Malt Whiskey made by Walla Walla Whiskey Company, which is changing its name to 2nd Street Distilling Company in Walla Walla, Washington, as a Christmas gift from good friends.

This whiskey is pretty unique.  It smell a lot like Mezcal with a sweet corn whiskey twist to it.  Its really smooth.  It has a smooth almost watery beginning that evolves into a sweet candy corn flavor.  It finishes with a flavor much like mezcal – in fact, I almost thought that I was drinking mezcal and not whiskey.  Pretty decent and very unique.  I rate it an 84.
